At the No Barriers Foundation, we're committed to delivering high-quality health services to every individual who accesses our services. To help us maintain fairness, reduce missed appointments, and ensure our services remain sustainable, we are introducing an updated Booking & Cancellation Policy.
Why This Policy Exists
As a charity, missed appointments mean lost opportunities for others and reduced funding for No Barriers, this is funding that we rely on to continue to provide services and to keep supporting the community. Between 1st January and the 30th June this year cancellations have cost No Barriers €29,325. We know that most clients have genuine reasons for re-arranging sessions, however when you book an appointment slot you are booking the time of a highly qualified physiotherapist or strength and conditioning coach and when this appointment is cancelled, our Charity incurs the cost. It's also a missed opportunity for someone on our waiting list who could have benefited from this appointment.
Pre-Payment Now Required
To secure your next appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and reduce cancellations or no- shows. You can book and pre-pay for up to 4 sessions in advance to secure the time slot that suits you best.
Once You Book, You’re Committed - please be aware that once your session is booked and paid for, it is considered confirmed, there are no refunds for cancellations or changes. Exceptions may be considered in limited circumstances.
